Pavel Tsatsouline, ein ehemaliger Ausbilder der Speznaz (russische Spezial Einheit), hat viel zu der neuen Popularität der Kugelhantel beigetragen und ist somit auch der bekannteste Kettelbell-Trainer.
Mit seinem Buch „Enter The Kettlebell“ (Kettlebell-Training) hat er wohl ein Standardwerk für diese Trainingsmethode geschaffen.
